Ingredients:
4 medium sized onions
1 tomato
1 lemon
3 green chillies
2 tablespoon salt
1 tablespoon red chilli powder
1 tablespoon turmeric powder
1 tablespoon coriander powder
1 tablespoon cumin powder
Mixed whole garam masala
2 tablespoon yogurt
2 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
1kg goat meat
6-8 tablespoon vegetable oil
Some ginger and coriander for seasoning
Recipe:
Marinate meat with yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, 1 tablespoon salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder and half squeezed lemon juice. Keep in fridge overnight or at least 4 hours.
Heat the pan, add oil and add 1 tablespoon garam masala. Fry it for 30 seconds.
Add chopped onion and green chillies and fry till light brown. Then add chopped tomato.
Now, add the meat and fry for 10-15minutes.
Add 1 tablespoon salt according to taste. Then, add half tablespoon turmeric powder.
Fry for 10minutes.
Cover the pot and let it cook in slow heat (as low heat as possible) for at least 2 hours.
Make sure to stir it every 20-30 minutes.
Once you see the oil separate from the meat, check if the meat is tender.
Then finally, season with chopped coriander and ginger.
Serve with rice or roti.
